Il mio film di diploma "Il Naturalista" e' stato selezionato nella sezione corti prodotti da scuole e opere prime del Festival di Cannes 2009!!! Questi siamo io e gli altri autori subito prima del tappeto rosso e dell'anteprima di "Inglorious basterds" di Tarantino.

My graduation film "The naturalist" has been selected for the school films and first works short film section of the Festival of Cannes 2009!!! This is me with the other authors of the short just before the red carpet that will lead us to see the premiere of Tarantino's "Inglorious Basterds".

Around S. Valentine... I had this moment of weakness... of cheesiness... Incredible. But the cynical like me have an heart too, after all.

It took me a bit... I'm after 1000 different things at the moment... here's the Xmas promo uploaded.

ILLUSTRATIONS

Queste illustrazioni sono state usate nel promo di Natale di Cartoon Network Italia, dove sono animate in After Effects come gag prima/dopo. Presto postero' anche il video che ha un bell'impatto e un audio esilarante.

This illustrations have been used in the Christmas image piece for CN Italy, where they're animated in After Effects to reach a before & after gag. I will soon post the video which has a nice impact and an exhilarating audio.

Questo lavoro, con Federico e Jacopo, ci ha tenuti sulla graticola per un bel po'... e' stato modificato infinite volte e se all'inizio dovevo soltanto cleanuppare alcune animazioni di Jack, alla fine ho anche inserito una sequenza per cercare di rendere un po' piu' chiara la gag dell'orologio...

This work was a bit hard for me, Federico and Jacopo... The producers kept asking for corrections for months and while in the beginning I was supposed to work on it just for the cleanup of some characters, in the end I had to add an animated sequence to try to make the clock's gag clearer...

AGLI AGGIORNAMENTI! / UPDATE! UPDATE!

Orbene! Il clima frenetico prenatalizio mi aveva un po' distratta dal ruolo di blogger... provvediamo per il momento con questo promo per il lancio del canale Boomerang +1, di cui ho curato anche la modifica al logo. Le animazioni che vedrete sono ovviamente estrapolate dai grandi classici, ma modificate da noi con paziente lavoro di mascherinaggio e inserti.

Soo! The thrilling pre-Christmas time got me distracted from my blogger responsibilities... let's arrange it with this promo for the launch of the Boomerang +1 channel, wose logo I had also to modify for the italian broadcasting. The animations are obviously pieces from the great classics, but have been altered by masks and inserts to fit the aim.

The script for this short film is by the distinguished prof. Mario Addis. It is an excercise on the subject "drops" made during my second year at CSC.
